Beautiful city on the move The city lies halfway between Ingolstadt and Regensburg, on a roughly 5 km wide gravel plain of the Danube Valley, which at this point is south of the wooded foothills of the tertiary Danube-Isar hills of the Hallertau and north of the slopes, which are mainly made of limestone the southern Franconian Jura is limited.
